Baca Kompas hari (7/11/07) ini agak terusik juga dengan pola peluncuran roket yang akan melepaskan satelit ke angkasa.
Ceritanya, Rusia akan membangun segala sarana dan prasarana (termasuk teknologi dan fasilitas) peluncuran satelit menggunakan pesawat (Air Launch System) di Lanud Frans Kaiseipo di Biak.
Pesawat Antonov AN-124 Condor yang akan meluncur dari Biak, akan melepaskan roketnya di udara dan roket akan meluncur untuk menghantarkan satelit ke ruang angkasa.
Wong namanya gw kagak ndableg, gue jadi mikir. Ini satelitnya yg kecil, atau pesawatnya yang besar ya?
Emang seberapa besar gedenya Antonov-124 Condor itu? Sepintas foto-foto dari internet yang sempet gue kumpulin. Lumayan bisa ngebayangin gedenya dia. Hehehe.
Disini masih keliatan biasa aja kali ya? soalnya masih tampil sendirian. Tapi coba lihat pada foto pesawat angkut Antonov AN-124 Condor berikutnya.
Kalau dicermati, terlihat satu unit helikopter yang kalo gw nggak salah menebak adalah seri UH-60 Black Hawk yang punya lebar sekitar 2.36m (baling-baling terlipat) dan dengan panjang nyaris sekitar 20m baru dikeluarkan dari perut AN-124 Condor ini.
Guedeeee kaaan?
Difoto berikutnya pesawat angkut Antonov AN-124 Ruslan atau penyandang kode NATO "Condor" ini berdampingan dengan bomber B-52 Stratofortress milik Amerika Serikat dan (kalo ga salah) TU-95 Bear milik Russia.
Walau kayaknya dari segi panjang masih kalah panjang dengan B-52, tapi gendutnya itu yg ga tahaaaaan..
