To have a good delicious coffee it must be through a process from the beans into the cup of coffee. The coffee beans must be roasting first to bring out their subtle flavors. As the beans heat up and turn a glossy brown, the oils that are the secret of their marvelous flavor develop.
To roast the coffee beans must be done by the specialist, the roast beans will be change the color from green beans into a light brown to very dark beans. After the beans roasted, the beans must be grinded by using the right grind for a given a coffee makers an essential element to achieve an optimal coffee flavor.
Why to roast the coffee beans it need an expert? The expert will known exactly when the coffee has been roasted well or not, and it will known the level of roasted, it is light roast that will have a mild aromatic taste and more delicate.
Medium roast that slightly stronger, Viennese roast that more darker and Continental roast that the beans will be change the color into deep-brown and near-black.
The roasted process will make the beans loss the protein, water and the caffeine around 10 to15 per cent, and also some other chemical contain on the beans. This process also will change the color, taste, and the complexity because it happen the chemical process called as caramelisation. The oil will be comes out from the beans during the roast process and makes the beans shiny.
The grinding machine normally like a drum and will be rounding during roasted process, so the beans will be rated all. The process will be takes time around 11 to 15 minutes.
After the beans roasted the coffee beans is ready for blending. When the coffee beans will be blend? Some coffee blenders believe that roasting each variety of beans separately prior to blending gives optimum flavor, whereas others say that blending before roasting lets the flavor of the mixed beans integrated more fully. But that is depending on a matter of personal taste.
Grinding process also needs a special technique that is why it is better done by a specialist. But some people also like to grind the coffee beans at home. There are two types of grinders that can use at home, both of which can create grinds of varying coarseness.
Blade grinder is more common. These repeatedly slice the beans, so the fineness of the grind is decided by how long the machine runs. However, the grind can be inconsistent. Burr grinders can be electric or manual. These crush the beans to a preset coarseness and give a much more even grind than blade grinders. And also it will use a paste and mortar to grind the coffee beans.
The type of grinded coffee beans will be grouped into some type of the flour resulted. Pulverized coffee, a very fine flour like a powder, very fine grind is the best grind for filtered coffee, fine grind to have a good texture, medium grind, and medium=coarse grind.
How to get a delicious coffee?
After you have coffee flour, you will ready to have a cup of coffee. A delicious coffee will depend on the personal taste. But normally most of people like a black coffee. To make a cup of black coffee it needs two table spoons of coffee flour (10 grams) and 180 mile-liter (mL) of boiled fresh water. For drip brewers, the appropriate grind should allow the coffee to finish dripping in several minutes. Coffee can be kept warm over a boiled for only 20 minutes. After that period of time the flavor will be comes unpleasant.
