Review by Zen Master for Walther CP99 Compact & Laser air pistol

The overall “look and feel” is very close to the real Walther handgun (actually the P22 model for 0.22LR )! And it may be even heavier than the real one for some reason. The laser sight is the best part I like in the package!
But the safety on this air pistol is a very bad design comparing with the real handgun. And the worst part is to load the CO2 catridge since you need to “precisely” tight up the brass screw in order to get it work. If too loose, it won’t charge. If too tight, you can’t insert the magzine, o you will have to waste a CO2 cartridge since its seal was broken in the process of tightening. This prcoess has no comparison with real gun
And I have a feeling that this air pistol won’t last till I finish the one box of BB I’ve purchased with this air pistol.

The CP Compact is a cool looking and has decent power (above 320 fps) for
a blowback BB pistol. Unlike Walthers’ PPK, the compact is more accurate
at 25′ and it doesn’t have that ugly CO2 screw sticking out at the bottom.
It comes with 1 18 round clip. I purchased additional ammo clip (2/$14)for continous fun. I got about 6 clips worth of consistent velocity
per CO2. If you like BB airguns that looks and feel (blowback) like a real gun, you’ll like this one. Especially the feel of popping out the
empty clip and sliding in a new one.
