great seat, sits close to table, good positioning, however toddler can easily climb up the chair like a ladder. we also have the baby rail, makes for even faster climb. she can climb with or without the baby rail.

My son has nearly tipped the chair over both times I put him in it. He pushes on the table and the chair tips back. He also has trouble sitting up straight because of the way the harnesses work. The harness is extremely hard to adjust. It says it can be used at 6 months, but I disagree, my son is sitting up well on his own and this chair seems to handicap him. I didn’t purchase the separate baby rail, so maybe that would have helped, but I couldn’t see spending $40 more on something we would only need for a short time (not to mention we already spent $240). I was very excited to get this chair after reading all the reviews. Sadly, I am returning it today.

This may be great for a month or two while you are just starting to feed your baby - but then when you want them to feed themselves, because there is no tray food is everwhere. It works for the toddler who doesn’t want to sit in a highchair anymore. I stopped using it with my baby and use the healthy care booster seat. It’s not as offensive as the huge high chairs, works just as well as is easy to clean. Plus you can get it for about $25.

I bought this for my daughter, and then another one when we had my son. It’s nice when they can get up in their chair by themselves, and sit right at the table with everyone else. My daughter is at the last rung for her feet, and my son is needing to go down one. They are very easy to change, and very comfortable. I found some cushions on KB Toys website…I think they went out of business…for cheap! I’m glad I bought two. I like the fact that it is so sturdy, and it’s impossible to tip over. They like to put their feet up and push themselves away from the table…no matter how much we say not to, it’s hard to convince a two year old not to do something.

We bought this chair for our 1-year-old daughter and love it. When she first started sitting up, we had her in a Bumbo seat, then when she started sitting up to eat we moved her to a high chair that straps onto the seat of one of our kitchen chairs. She was growing out of that, but we didn’t want to buy a big high chair, we wanted something that would blend with the rest of our kitchen furniture and the Stokke is perfect. Now she can sit up to the table with us and loves sitting in her chair. She does use her feet to push away from the table sometimes, so we do have to keep an eye on that.
