I purchased this item in early December for Christmas. It qualified for the Super Free Shipping deal they were running at the time. It took over three weeks for this item to be shipped. I didn’t receive it until Christmas Eve. I will NEVER use Amazon again unless they improve their so called FREE SHIPPING Offers. It was not worth the headache or anxiety that it caused.

I have this clock and enjoy seeing the outside temp but what’s with the moon phase. The read out is exactly opposite from where it should be. I wanted to get a clock like mine for a Christmas present but there’s no way I would give a gift that I know isn’t right. Amazon should zonk the LaCrosse people for selling a faulty product.
I am updating this as of June 2007. The clock is in the JUNK box heading for the dump. It began staying an hour off the correct time when the time changed earlier this year. Outside temp quit working years ago. Moon phases are backward even if they are suppose to be that way, it doesn’t make sense. I have better things to do with my time than try to deal with a clock that is technically worthless. Oh yeah, the inside temp gets “hung up” so I have to go to another clock to see what the inside temp is, So I went to Walmart and got a $15 clock that works perfectly and can look online for moon phases and temp. To sum up, LaCrosse should have recalled these clocks and made it right.
Another update. Decided to put the clock at the summer camp. So now it has decided to keep changing itself to another time zone. So now I’m adding a sticker with a 3+ so we’ll know to add 3 to the time to get the correct time. It has become the family joke.

I can’t seem to get all the functions to work every time it is used.

while the idea is excellent, the technology is faulty. i followed the instructions exactly. the time set itself and so did the temperature - only thing, the temperature sensor was defective.
at one point, i had both the indoor and outdoor sensors about 1 yard away from each other and the temperature reading was over 1 degree different! overall the temperature reading was 5 degrees off, when compared to two “traditional” thermometers.
when i called cs they gave me these silly instructions to follow to “reset” the unit (press the reset button 25 times at 1 second intervals, c’mon) then i finally got an honest cs person who said the unit was defective. i have a feeling this company won’t be around for too long.
