Worked nice for couple or three months. Then stopped to feel the outdoor sensor. New set of batteries helped just for several days, and finally outdoor temp became totally unavailable. Then it started to drain indoor batteries so that even indoor temp became a problem. Keep off this crap!

I have this for over a year in my home. It works great. No problems with it so far.

This is a good unit, but it does not provide indoor/outdoor humidity, only indoor. If you are looking for outdoor humidity like I was, keep looking. Aside from that, it is a good unit, especially for this price.

Though my review comes now, I have owned this model for about 2 years. I recently purchased 2 more as birthday gifts for relatives due to the interest in the one I have. One of the main reasons I wanted this product was the ability to add an additional remote sensor to the one that came with this unit, (which I obviously use outdoors). I purchased one separately to use in my second floor apt. to get an idea of what the temperature was up there since I control the heat in my downstairs apt. It works perfectly. The outdoor sensor is about 80′ away from the weather station and still manages to work fine even though it has to go through various walls. Though the batteries dont last as long as hoped, (8-10 months) the distance of the sensor and living in the northeast could be the factors. The sensors and the weather station appear to be pretty accurate with their temp. readings as I have checked them against each other as well as my heating t/stat. The atomic time and date work as stated with no problems. All said, I would recommend this product.

I had this unit 18 months before it stopped working. I tried changing the batteries, ( installed in xmter first) waited 15-20 minutes before putting batteries in receiver with no luck. I sent an email to LaCrosse and got no response. I’ll never buy a LaCrosse again since their quality and customer service is terrible. I’m now looking at Oregon Scientific, Davis, or some other brand.
