Love the concept, but…. I bought the 9016 model (LaCross Technologies is the mfr) for my wife/family for the holidays. After following the directions included with the unit and an exhaustive look through the FAQ’s, etc. at the LaCross Technologies website, I still cannot get the outdoor temperature to read out on the unit - this has nothing to do with distance between the sensor and the unit, etc. — it does not work. I suspect the transmitter is defective. The company’s help desk and email help function on their web site is the worst… it does not ring through and eventually (20 min?) dumps you out of their system all-together. I received no responses from two emails. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST — THEIR PRODUCTS DO NOT WORK AND THEY ARE LESS THAN GENUINE ABOUT SERVICE. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

We have had this weather station for quite some time now and it has not disappointed. The temp, moon and time are always pretty dead on. The forcast pictures can often be wrong, but it always indicates a change in the weather.

I really like this weather station.you can ajust the contrast on the display.it took a few days for the moon rise and set readings to agree with my local paper almanac readings.clear easy to read display.i have only had it about three weeks,but so far it seems great.

This station is very cool. It was easy to setup. It uses an atomic clock so you don’t have to worry about setting the time. I enjoy knowing what phase the moon is in. The only thing that isn’t real accurate is the weather predicter. I recommend this weather station.
