I love the My K Cup product. This is a fantastic way to use your own coffee in your Keurig machine, but the price (currently listed here for 44 dollars. Forty Four Dollars!) is more than 4 times the suggested price of 9.95 for the 2 replacement filters—- and it is also priced 30 dollars higher than the suggested price of the my k cup filter itself (15.00 at target) If this price isn’t a typo, this seller is taking advantage of amazon customers. The option is great, Its awesome to have a “greener” cheaper option don’t get me wrong.
However this brews a terrible cup of joe. There are a few issues with this.
This ends up being mostly water when you brew it. It doesn’t get a chance to fully collect the flavor of the coffee.
Even if you pack it in there it still comes out way to weak. Also if you don’t fill it up right you’ll get grounds overflowing into your coffee.

I love these filters for when I run out of K-Cups. However, you do need to cover with foil to use properly.

Keurig makes an excellent single cup product and has the extra feature of being able to use one’s own coffee mix to brew the single cup. The filters are just exactly as advertised — although I have found some locally that were much less expensive.

The only reason why I rated it 4 instead of 5, is b/c the reusable k-cup doesnt make as good of a cup of coffee as the k-cups. This isn’t because of the brand of coffee I’m using, it’s just not nearly as easy to do and a few grounds end up getting in the coffee.
