Smoking cigarettes can cause bad effects on the body. Some of these can lead smokers to life-threatening diseases.

According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), smoke cigarettes can increase the dying risks from many causes, not only which related to tobacco use.

So, there are some common causes of smoking that you might already know. Smoke cigarettes can affect the respiratory system, reproductive system, circulatory system, the eyes, the skin and increase the different risk cancers, so, you will see some of the possible effects of smoke cigarettes.

How smoking tobacco can affect cancer risk?

You should know that smoke accounts around 30 percents of deaths in the US, including 80 percents of lung cancer deaths.

Lung cancer is the main cause of death in both men and women and this is one of the hardest cancers to treat. Smoking does not only increase the lung cancer risks, however, its also a risk factor for other cancer risks, such as cervix, mouth, larynx, kidney, stomach, colon, and so on.

Pipes, cigarettes, and pipes along with other types of smokeless tobacco can cause cancer. So, there is no safe way to use tobacco.

Does inhaling also affect the risk of cancer?

Of course yes. Whenever the smoke touches the living cells, then it would be dangerous. Even, there are some smokers who do not inhale too much smoke which comes from their mouths and cigarette, pipe or cigar.

They are also in the risk of lung cancer and other diseases which been caused by secondhand smoke. There are other causes of smoking as well.

How smoking tobacco can damage your lungs?

Smoking damages in the airways and small air in your lungs. This damage can be started early on smokers and the lung function starts to continue getting worse as long as they still keep smoke.

However, it takes many years for that issue to become noticeable enough for lung disease to be diagnosed. Smoking will make asthma and pneumonia getting worse. It also causes other lung diseases which also as bad as lung cancer.

Heart Disease

Smoke cigarette can damage the heart, blood cells, and blood vessels. The chemicals and tar inside a cigarette can increase the risk of getting atherosclerosis as the build-up of the plaque on your blood vessels.

This build-up will limit the blood flow and lead to harmful blockage. There are other causes of smoking.
