My wife and I bought this to be used on a firm mattress we already owned. After a week of use - I didn’t notice any difference in sleep comfort and my wife noticed some minor back stiffness. The product seemed to be exactly as described but we didn’t see the value in keeping it. We returned it after one week.

I recently bought a new mattress which is very firm. My back likes it very much but my hips get sore because I sleep on my sides. This latex mattres topper solved the problem for me by adding a little softness. It does not get as hot as foam and the one I have does not have any smell. I am happy with this purchase.

I had been to the mattress store and fell in love with the solid-latex mattresses because I didn’t sink very far into them. But yikes, at $1600, I thought surely there would be a more cost-effective option. I reasoned that if the mattress was solid latex and I sunk in only about an inch or two, that a latex topper of 2 inches would feel about the same, right? Actually I found the feel of the topper much different than that of the solid latex mattresses. The mattress topper was definitely squishier. The two are not really comparable.
Someone on this forum said that these latex toppers had a strong latex smell. I am sensitive to smell and was hesitant, but bought it anyway. It came in a plastic bag. I poked a small hole in the plastic and sniffed, ready to return it if necessary. There was no scent. I opened up the entire package and still was not bothered. If you are sensitive to smells too, you will probably have no issues with this product, really, it’s fine.

I am picky when it comes to mattresses. And I’ve gone thru Tempur Pedic and many different Simmons Beauty Rests. This topper lets you sleep comfortable, not hot (I’m a hot sleeper and I live in Houston, TX). Its very springy/bouncy/soft. I would recommend.
