Allows air to easily enter snorkel for clean and unobstructed breathing. Specially designed cover guards against water splashing into the snorkel. When the dry snorkel is submerged in water, the patented hinged seal reacts to seal the snorkel, preventing water from entering.

this is the best mask snorkel combo. the mask was awsome. i like the purge valve thing. then the snorkel was so good. anytime you go under no water comes in

I purchased this set for myself for a recent trip to Hawaii. I had no problems at all with the snorkel set. I loved the dry snorkel because I didn’t have to worry about water coming through.

I’ve only had one opportunity to evaluate this set, but it worked well both swimming on the surface as well as diving deep for a closer look. The mask was very soft and fit well to my face, and the purge valve worked OK (though forcing the water out by exhaling via my nose usually resulted in fogging). The snorkel drained well and never caused breathing problems. It also has a handy safety whistle molded into the plastic. I’ll try to update this after I get another opportunity to use it!

The truth is that I’ve done A LOT of snorkeling in some very nice places over the years including with Whale Sharks off Cancun only last month but always using inferior equipment. Finally I got sick of water finding its way into my mask and I ordered this from Amazon, using my blackberry, while on the beach in Puerto Aventuras. It was waiting for me when I got home.
I took it out in the murky waters off Long Island last week and my only question is “Where’s this thing been all my life?” NO leaking at all. Virtually no water coming down the snorkel when I dive. It’s a water tight but very comfortable fit. Just do yourself a favor and get it BEFORE your next adventure.

The Body Glove Reliance Purge Mask and Immerse Dry Snorkel set was great. I used it in the ocean and there were no leaks in the mask. The snorkel worked wonderful no water came in when I went under and as soon as I came up the purge valve opened so I could breath. I would recommend this item.
