Received product in a timely manner and when I had to call customer service to perform a function, they were very helpful.

IF you follow the directions in the tiny manual which comes with the unit, everything works GREAT. The setup has to be completed in a particular manner and you have to be PATIENT about waiting for the time to be automatically set to your time zone (with daylight savings time being automatic).
I use this at night in the bedroom with the AC adapter plugged in so that the ceiling projection is ALWAYS ON and alternates between outside temperature and time.
I have it placed on my night stand and it projects perfectly on my 8 foot high ceiling. (If you use only the batteries, you have to press the “snooze” button to see the projected display.)
Now the projections will not be visible during the day, but all you have to do is LOOK AT the device itself to see the inside temp, inside humidity, and inside temperature.
The device also functions as an alarm clock though I have not tried that yet.
Bought this not from Amazon but from a catalog company.

I have never had any problems with La Crosse. The main thing with this unit is you have to put the batteries in and then do not touch any of the buttons for 15 min. Also you have to put the battery in the remote unit first and it has to be more then five feet from the main unit. If you do this then everything works fine the first time. The clock will set itself and the remote tempeture unit will send a signal to the clock. The projection unit works good enough to know the time and the tempeture at the remote sensor. This was the best solution I could find for a clock I could see in the middle of the night. It is really neat to see the time and tempeture up on the ceiling. Esp when you wake up in the middle of the night and want to know what the time is. I was surprised at how different the time was from what I thought it would be. In both directions. Sometimes it is two or there hours earlyer than I thought and other times it is two or three hours later than what I thought the time was going to be. I am also surprised that there are nights I sleep a lot more than I thought. I was thinking I get 4 to 5 hours sleep and there are nights I do actually get closer to 6 or 7 hours sleep.

We gave this to our grandson for Christmas, but do not know how he liked it. He thanked us for it, but I do not know how it is working for him.
