  1. The day I ordered this pair at Amazon, I saw the same Homedics slippers at Sears for $21.99 on sale and I was immediately assured that price wise, this is a great buy. I got the slippers within 3 days. The material is very soft and “towely”, and pretty in pink- it feels really good to just walk in them. Though they have a battery compartment underneath the sole, they are not too heavy to walk in either. Each slipper uses 2 AA batteries. The massage is actually more effective while sitting. And my mum and my sister keep eyeing my slippers. I ordered another one for my future mum-in-law as well! I’m sure she’ll love it. Also, I wear a shoe size 8, sometimes 8.5, but the Homedics Small Size for the massaging slippers fit just fine, actually a little better coz a good fit gives a better feeling of the vibrations. If you’re thinking of buying this, go for it!

  2. D. Boz says:

I originally found two of these on Amazon while shopping for Christmas. By the time I went to purchase them, there was only one left. The item arrived and I loaded it with batteries(you will need four AA batteries-two for each foot).

There is only an on/off switch, so there are no levels to adjust. The flip-flops are pink and fluffy. They are comfortable, but I want to preserve the massage feature, so I do not wear them too much around the house. I put them on and usually put my feet up to use the massage feature.

As for the massage feature, it is more of a low intensity vibration for your feet. Initially, I was not impressed, but as I kept them on my feet for about 20-30 minutes, I definitely noticed a difference. After about 20-30 minutes, the vibration massage does ease the tension in your feet. I noticed this in the arches of my feet and also in the back of my lower calves (especially after I hit the off switch and took them off—the difference in your feet is more noticeable then). It’s almost like your feet are breathing a sigh of tension relief.

For $20.00, I decided to keep them. The product works, can be used safely, the fluffy pink color is kinda cute, and the vibrational massage it gives is low intensity, but fine. For best results, put the flip-flops on, put your feet up and hit the on-switch. Be careful about falling asleep though and running the batteries down quickly.
